About course

The “Aerial Reconnaissance” course is suitable both for beginners starting their journey as UAV operators and for experienced military personnel looking to upgrade their skills. The program covers all key aspects of theory and practice — helping newcomers grasp the fundamentals, while enabling seasoned fighters to deepen their knowledge in military reconnaissance and refine their drone operation skills under the guidance of experienced instructors. Participants will learn flight basics, mission planning, and drone data analysis skills. It’s a great opportunity to gain the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to launch a successful career in this field.

What you will learn

– Skills in decoding data from UAVs.

Course program

Study of UAV application theory and practical exercises on simulators.

The theoretical part consists of three lectures. The first covers the structure of quadcopters, software, and basic safety and tactical blocks. The second includes all the tactical elements for safe and effective task execution on the front line, including EW and ESM tactics, artillery adjustment, and a comprehensive aerial reconnaissance safety block. Special attention is given to the ""Kropyva"" battle management system, and a separate module covers tactical psychology. Computer simulators are a crucial stage in training, where cadets practice piloting skills, develop spatial awareness, and understand drone behavior.

Practical flights at a fully equipped training ground outside the city.

We have designed the training process and infrastructure to simulate combat conditions closely. Each cadet practices aerial reconnaissance tasks in conditions as close as possible to actual combat, working in crews to achieve combat coordination. This includes using external antennas and operating from actual bunkers, with tasks complicated by active electronic warfare (EW) systems.

Certificate

Upon course completion and exam passing, each cadet receives an official certificate confirming the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills in operating Class 1 UAVs for combat tasks. The training meets the profession of "Remote-Controlled Apparatus Operator" (code 8990) and Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) - 216.
