The “Global Drone Academy” training center, established in April 2022 in response to Russia’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine, has trained more than 5,000 drone operators. These operators are now defending Ukraine as part of the Defense Forces.

Particular attention should be given to the fact that the instructors of the UAV Operator Training Center “Global Drone Academy” were the first to confirm their qualifications according to the national Professional Standard officially “Operator-Instructor of Remote-Controlled Unmanned Aerial Vehicles.”

GDA trains military and civilians, with no difference in the training programs. A civilian today may become military tomorrow and must apply the knowledge and skills gained in combat situations. Global Drone Academy has ambitious development plans for 2024, including opening branches in all regions of Ukraine, attracting new partners, and expanding into international markets.

Modern warfare requires drones, and victory demands experienced pilots. That’s why we train military personnel six days a week to become professional drone pilots while ensuring their safety as they defend Ukraine. Over 2,000 pilots have already been trained.
